JETAA USA is in a constant state of flux as an organization. To help us grow in the direction we need, we establish national initiatives throughout the year to focus on.
For the 2013-14 year, we’ve identified the below initiatives. We are always open to hearing new ideas and fulfilling needs that promote JETAA USA and our mission. If you’re interested in working on any of the project, please don’t hesitate to contact the JETAA USA Country Representatives to let us know!
- Building National Capacity – pursuing grant opportunity from the Japan Foundation Center for Global Partnership through the US-Japan Bridging Foundation to support efforts to institutionalize JETAA USA
- Completion of JETAA USA 311 Relief Fund allocations – managing final project and reporting on impact of contributions to Tohoku and local non-profit and NGO relief organizations and recipients
- Continuing Sister Cities/Prefectures – promoting and cultivating relationships between JETAA US chapters and their respective sister cities and/or sister prefectures
- JETAA USA website – continuing to build the site to serve as a resource and hub to all US chapters
